MET GALA 2017 Best Dressed

Best Dressed a la MET Gala

On Monday night, models and celebrities alike celebrated the 1st of May in Met Gala fashion! The creme de la creme of the fashion and entertainment world gathered on the grand stairs of the Met Museum for the annual fashion gala or the fashion Oscars, in other words. This year's theme was honoring the innovation of avant garde designer Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons, who is known for his over the top, deconstructed-wearable-but-not-so-wearable-designs. Some celebrities took fashion risks to fully embrace the evening's theme and some decided to big or go home by daring to wear a CDG design. And even though, CDG is known for being kinda cooky, some people embraced the theme a lot better than others and we're taking a look at all the Met Gala celebs who got it right!

Here's our list of the 2017 Met Gala BEST DRESSED!

Zendaya in Dolce & Gabbana.

YASSS Z!!! This was one of my FAVORITE looks of the night, not to mention probably one of the BEST Met Gala looks in a long ass time. The budding fashion diva gave us serious LYFE in this stunningly vibrant D&G number. And can we talk about her hair for a second???! HERE. FOR. IT. Z's afro-fabulous hair and bold orange lips means: no accessories necessary. BOOM.  Zendaya is basically giving me Rihanna circa 2015 in this outfit and I think she's just the hands down winner. GOOD NIGHT.

Rihanna in Comme des Garcons.

But then of course you have the fashion maven herself, Rihanna. Now, Ri Ri hasn't been on the Met carpet since she literally WOWed the world with her grand yellow ensemble back in 2015. So, naturally, Ri was gonna show UP on the carpet in full on style, making up for that missed time. And being the edgy ass diva that Ri Ri is, the singer was one of the FEW celebs who dared to wear CDG on the carpet. Others tried to embrace the theme and Rihanna just straight up WORE IT. CHECK PLEASE?!!

Beauty note: Ri's illuminated pink cheeks and eyes are literally EVERYTHING.

Zoe Kravitz in Oscar de la Renta.

Let's talk about Big Little Lies for a second. Zoe is a LITTLE girl, with a BIG sense of fashion, and when the girl walks a red carpet - she ain't serving no LIES. OKAY?? Can I get an 'Amen sister friend" for my lady in pink?! The young actress/singer was serving us Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, with a little more Kravitz edge and there's absolutely nothing wrong with this look.

Beauty note: Her quaffed blonde hair with her pale pink makeup is just flawless.

(I promise this is not a solely #BlackGirlMagic post...)

Katy Perry in Masion Margiela by John Galliano.

SO, I don't care what people have to say about this look. Whether you happen to think it's crazy or ugly, we're just ignoring you because not only was Katy the co-chair for the evening's Gala, she NAILED the CDG theme perfectly in this bold, custom Galliano red gown. The outfit, which the singer described as wearable art, has so much detail and so many little pieces that if you don't appreciate it's intricate craftsmanship, then you're missing something. We're in LOVE with ALL the RED. The red veil is the most fierce thing ever and behind the veil is Katy's unreal makeup with accents for blue and red shimmer. RED is the new black people. Get used to it.

Kate Bosworth in Tory Burch.

At first glance, you would not think of this look as a Tory Burch creation. Like, at all. Because when you think of Tory you think of like preppy, pink and blue tennis skirts, and like golden T's everywhere LOL. But stop right there! Tory surprised us all and dressed Bosworth in this totally chic fanned out, black gown. Now, Kate looks good in just about anything, but  her dark red lip and slicked back hair is super vampy, different and so fierce. The diamond necklace, which hangs down her back also adds some softness to the dark ensemble, but all of it together is perfection.

Blake Lively in Versace.

Welp, we already know that the couple goals for the evening went to Blake and hubby Ryan Reynolds,  but let's give Blake some  solo time in the spotlight and just take in this intricate gold and blue embellished gown. There are like SO many things to say that I can't even form words about what to say. So, just, Bravo Blake. Bravo.

Emmy Rossum in Carolina Herrera.

Yaaaas Emmy! I mean, the girl just walked into the room, or the tent should we say, nailed her pose, swung her side train around and was like BOOM BITCHES - I'M HERE. And we were like YAS EMMY we're HERE FOR YOU TOO. Need I say more? Nah.

P.S. She's wearing pants...NAILED IT.

Allison Williams in DVF.

Okay, at first glance, you see this dress and you're like oookay, so she's wearing a white dress with a black corset. Big whoop? WELL IT IS indeed a big whoop because if you look closer at the details, you will then seen that the entirety of the white part of the gown is SEQUINED, and the back of the gown has some complex draping that is just so elegant. I LOVE this look. Everything from the Allison's new bold, blonde hair, to the red lip and the dazzling, long earrings. Allison may NOT be the white girl you wanna go home with for the weekend (LOL Get Out reference - and if you haven't seen Get Out yet WHO IS YOU?!), but I'd take her home if she was wearing this...

Laura Osnes in Cristian Siriano.

This little Broadway beauty made her Met Gala debut last night and she NAILED in this awesomely fabulous custom Cristian Siriano gown. If we're ranking all the BIG dresses from the night, I give her and Zendaya 1 and 2 because these ballroom numbers are so grand, so fierce, and so elegant. They command the room, or in this case, the staircase, and it's just so freaking baller.

Rose Byrne in Ralph Lauren.

Red is the new black ladies and gentlemen. If you didn't believe me the first time, I think you'll believe me now. This BEST thing about Rose's look is that this gown is probably one of the most unconventional Ralph Lauren looks, like, ever. It's SO not RL to the point where you're like - are you SURE that's RL? But it is, and its spectacular. It fits her like a dream and while it's a big gown, the tulle fabric is actually quite simple. Flawlessly done Rose.

Beauty note: Her vintage inspired hair and the bold red lip just tops of her look exquisitely.

Kendall Jenner in La Perla.

Well, leave it to Kendall J to simply wear some lingerie on the Met gala red carpet lol. JK. The model, who is currently the face of La Perla decided to rock the lingerie designer on the carpet and I think she it really well. Now grant it she's def just wearing a lace, thong bustier, covered up with a bedazzle dress type thing, but I mean, that's basically what it is and it's freaking cool. And hey, as long as she didn't accessorize her look with a Pepsi, that's all that matters right? LOLz.

Gigi Hadid in Tommy Hilfiger.

I think it's safe to say that Tommy Hilfiger surprised us with this totally NOT Tommy look on Gigi last night. I LOVE this ensemble. Gigi's hair isn't my favorite thing in the world, BUT the styling of the gown with the netted thigh highs and sheer shoes is just PERFECTION. I love this look also because it embraces the CDG theme in combining the wearable with the avant-garde very well. This might be my favorite non big dress look on the carpet.

Riley Keough in Louis Vuitton.

The granddaughter of Elvis is hot as f*ck. If you haven't watched The Girlfriend Experience, you should because she's just....I mean, I legit have no words. Bottom line though is - I love her and I love this look. She is serving us the Madonna look that Madonna didn't. (I mean let's be real Madonna's look was A MESS). But yes, love the juxtaposition between the Riley's tossed back hair and fresh face with the harshness of the red and black (remember ladies, red IS the new black), and the chains. LOOOVE IT. Elvis would be proud.

Emily Ratajkowski in Marc Jacobs.

We all know that Emily is just gorgeous, and she could have literally worn nothing last night and looked amazing, but I LOVE this dress because it reminds of this beautifully embellished, wearable version of Van Gough's 'Starry Night.'

Beauty note: Emily kept her makeup simple dabbling with the peach hues, but made the make up cohesive with a bold blue liner. Flawless.

Sophia Richie in Topshop.

I'm literally HERE for ANY thing ANY Richie does. From Nicole, to Lionel to Sophia, I got ya'll. Nicole's younger sister looked white hot in this custom, metallic number. It's sexy, yet elegant and I'm kinda down with the fact that her dress mimics her hair a little bit. The diamonds, the dripping chest chain, I'm into ALL of it.

So, these are all the ladies who SLAYED the Met carpet in our opinion, BUT the question is, if the original creator of SLAY (aka Beyonce), didn't attend this year's ceremony then likeeee did the Met Gala EVEN HAPPEN?!!

LOL!!

But seriously...did it?

Oscars BEST Dressed

Best Dressed a la 2017 Oscars!!

On Sunday the 89th annual Academy Awards took place in Hollywood. The star-studded evening was packed with the best of the best of Hollywood and the best of the best of fashion. But before we delve into the evening's hottest looks - quick shoutout to the some of the big winners from the night including Viola Davis for Best Supporting Actress (FENCES), Mahershala Ali for Best Supporting Actor (MOONLIGHT), and director Barry Jenkins and the cast of "Moonlight" for stealing show - literally - for their unexpected win for Best Picture. Sorry 'La La Land.' LOVE Ya! I do. Seriously, it's the sound track of my life, but Emma and Damien won for them, so I think they're set.

ALSO even BIGGER congrats to Davis for being ONE step closer to becoming an EGOT (she just needs a Grammy now...but we'll work on that) and to Mahershala Ali for becoming to first Muslim to win an Oscar. Take THAT Trump! LOL...sorry, had to.

So Oscar winners aside, here are the BEST DRESSED from last night's epic ceremony!

best of the best

Viola Davis in Armani

ALL HAIL THE 2017 QUEEN OF AWARD SEASON!!!! Congrats to the lovely Davis on her over whelming success this year. And even better? The TV and film star slayed the award show red carpets with all her looks, but this red hot Armani number proved that the star was dressed to win. She looked so fierce, so ready, so deserving. I am SO proud to call you my mother in my head hahaha. Conrgats on the gold!! Three cheers for VIOLA!!

Emma Stone in Givenchy

It's not secret that Emma Stone was dressed to WIN. The "La La Land" actress looked like her new Oscar in this golden Givenchy gown. And while I love everything from the beading to the sparkling fringe, the dress is in fact a sleeveless, golden recreation of Cate Blancett's 2015 Golden Globes dress. (Cate always wears Givenchy, just saying). But did Emma look fabulous in the gold hue? Yes. And her red hair paired with that burnt orangey-red lip and the golden brown smokey eye is really what tied the whole look together. Emma glittered like the award she won. Well done.

Olivia Culpo in Marchesa

Close your eyes and think of water. That's right water. Culpo was lucky enough to be chosen as the Marchesa muse (my life long dream), for this year's Oscars and then model worked her custom, embellished and fringe gown made to interpret water. Other great parts of Culpo's look is the tiny accents from the purple eye lids and slicked back pony tail to the tiny black ribbon belt on the dress. Simply perfection. OH and the best part?! Her dress was for a good cause! Think about water again and think about how her dress was actually made out of pieces of Stella Artois chalice for the Stella "Buy A Lady A Drink" Water Project collaboration. This fringe thang really worked for her and Emma last night huh?

Naomi Harris in Calvin Klein

UMMM I want to hate her because every day I wake up and I wonder why I'm still NOT her, but I love her. AND I love this dress. Sure Oscars means best of the best and over the topness, but the reason why this dress is so great because it's really not over the top. It's SO simple that it takes the cake. Everything about the dress shape, the retro white sequins, the mullet back is SO unique and so perfect. OH and her shoes were EVERYTHING. Pop of yellow with the diamonds. AHHHmazing. Then Naomi's simple makeup and sleek, straight hair just puts the whole look together. Well done! Brilliant! (British accent).

Amy Adams in Tom Ford

When you're in a Tom Ford movie, ya wear Tom Ford. That's just how it goes. So were any of us surprised to see the Oscar vet show up to this year's ceremony in an awesome, plunge-neck, metallic Ford sheath? Nah. And did she kill it? Yaaasssss. Adams didn't do the red carpet so most of us were stunned when we saw her for the first time on stage, but when the lights hit her gown it was like the heavens opened up. Spectacular dress Amy. You may not have won but you're a red carpet winner in our eyes.

Isabelle Hupbert in Armani Prive

Pretty much anyone wearing Armani Prive on the the carpet is going to look amazing because they make custom gowns to WOW. So, when the lovely French actress, (who probably should have won the Oscar over Emma Stone just saying...), waltzed onto the red carpet she literally looked like a glittery cloud. Everything about this is just tres magnifique. As they say in France.

Da Best

Ruth Negga in Valentino

Ruthie has been killing it on the red carpet this award season. She is one of the new fashion figure in Hollywood to keep track of and she never ceases to amaze. At first glance I didn't love this look, but the more I saw it, the more I fell in love with it. Not many people can pull off red on the carpet as well as the extremely high collar. But this Valentino gown is just so romantic and elegant and on her she just looked like a princess. Like I could see Kate Middleton in this TOMORROW. LOL. I loved the crown-shaped ruby headband as well with all the ruby makeup. I feel in love with Ruth last night and I'm going to refrain from making a "Loving" pun right now. LOL.

But her after party look was even better....

Tarhji P. Henson in Albertta Faretti

So, at first I saw this dress and I was likeee ehhh that's boring. Nothing wrong with it, but it's boring. BUT then they did the up-down pan of the full gown and I saw it - the SLIT. Oh yeah. Girl was working her Angelia Jolie side slit and she looked AWESOME. Finally the whole look came together. The short hair, the diamond necklace, the offer-the-shoulder sleeves, the boobs pushed up...yeah we can't leave that out. Girl looked so fierce. Can't handle it. WERK girl!

Emma Roberts in Armani Prive

Were you expecting to see Roberts on the Oscars red carpet last night? Nope. Julia maybe, but like not her niece. Lol. But she showed up and she showed up with a new redhead do AND a beautiful vintage Armani Prive gown. This dress literally looked like it was painted on her it fit SO well. This was vintage Hollywood glam at it's finest. Surprise? Yes. But we'll take it.

Leslie Mann in Zac Posen

I think that this was one of the most FUN dresses on the Oscar's red carpet. Not only did the chartreuse color look amazing on Leslie, but her styling was perfection. The lose waves with the orangey red lip and drop diamonds just topped this look off. The Oscar presenter looked red carpet perfect and hey she wasn't even nominated. That's how you do it people.

Janelle Monáe in Elie Saab

WOAH. This dress - woah. So, Monáe is known for normally wearing Chanel on the carpet, but the "Hidden Figures" star truly looked like a princess in this beautifully adorned Elie Saab gown. Similar to the structure of Jessica Biel's Golden Globes dress, this dress is what you call a red carpet show stopper. And I don't think anyone other that Monáe could have pulled this look off...especially with all the accessories as well. Bravo!

Halle Berry in Versace

Despite her kinda crazy - no I take that back. SUPER crazy wig - Halle Berry looked SO fierce is this beautiful chiffon and sequined Versace gown. The women DOES NOT AGE. It's actually a joke. Well done Halle...just maybe next time...different wig?? Cause you kinda have to block the wig out to really SEE the dress haha. And I've got no problem with the au natural hair butt her hair was even bigger than her face! AH!

Giuliana Rancic in Georges Shakra

Welp despite how, skinny the TV host looked - again another subject for another day, she did look beautiful in this unique pastel blue gown. The way it looked on the carpet was just eye-popping and the bold color was everything. There's a a lot going on with the dress, but it doesn't look like too much. Now, are we ready to see Giuliana arms again? Ehhhh it's still too soon. But we can handle it this time...maybe.

SAG Awards Worst Dressed

Worst Dressed a la SAG Awards!!

Ugh, oh boy. It's my LEAST favorite thing buuuut I know it's everyone else's FAVORITE thing (cause ya'll are just a bunch of haters...lolz), so without further ado - here is our list of stars who kinda missed the fashion mark at Sunday night's SAG Awards. Womp. Womp.

Le Worst

Salma Hayek in Gucci.

We all know Salma is a beautiful woman, not to mention she's got a helluva beautiful life married to Le French billionaire. So, we I know the girl has everything, but I'd like to see her spend her money on some other thanngs that are NOT this dress. Now yellow is going to be a super popular color for spring, don't hate the color, but the dress itself is kinda awful. ALSO it's just TOO much of a cha-cha look if you know what I'm saying? I mean she def didn't do it on purpose and the color is gorgeous, but like the rose with the one shoulder frill and the bow-tie waist - AHHH it's too much.

Bryce Dallas Howard in Dress the Population.

So, this look isn't exactly ugly...it's just kinda not interesting. And I'm not one to dismiss a sequin dress, but this red sequin dress just looks really cheap and the way it's styled with the multi-colored stone necklace  is a big NO. Hate it. Now I think Bryce is beautiful and I think her makeup looks beautiful, but the whole look together I'm just not a fan of. Sorry Bryce.

Anna Chlumsky in ????!!!

Ugh. This just the miz face emoji all around. I don't know WHY but Anna like is always a red carpet fail. Lolzzz. And I know that's like mean but it's TRUE she has a history of always looking MIZ I can't. Like, this dress literally looks like she wrapped a reversal blanket around her body a few times, added some bling and called it a night. ANNA - get a new stylist or something plzzz. Because we like YOU just not your dresses...like ever. Sorry.

Kayley Cucuo in Marchesa.

AHH so this is so difficult for me because I am a die hard Marchesa fan, normally love every single thing they put out BUT, I think Kayley looks like a mermaid...and that's being nice. I think the idea is COOL, but I hate the the confetti-like fabric that is literally hanging off the dress and the top, which I get is intricate detail - kinda looks like it's about to rip in shreads and fall off? And the bottom just looks like a trail of cotton candy. FUN? Sure. PRETTY? Nope. I don't know. I hate to hate this dress! This is not the dress I want to hate...but I hate it.

Winona Ryder in Ryan Roche.

OH MY GOD. SO apart from her crazy 22 faces she made while on stage during the "Stranger Things" expectance speech, which was just so bizarre, Winnoa Ryder LITERALLY always looks sickly or something on red carpets. Not to mention that she always looks like she's attending a 1995 award show but not in the trendy retro way. UGH. The girl looks like a witch this photot. Like and old witch and she's not even THAT old!!  Look Winona, we're happy for you and  the"Stranger Things" crew, but girrrrl you need a better stylist. You're not old. You're not dying. So WHY do you always look like it?!! Fix it.

Janelle Monae in Chanel.

Ah, Janelle. I love her and I love that she literally does whatever the f*ck she wants when it comes to fashion, but this overly flowered Chanel gown is just too much for me. I love her hair and the fun hair accessories she has going on, but paired with the gown...again it's just like way to much going on. Love you thoooo!! Congrats on da Hidden Figures win!!

Tracee Ellis Ross in Ulyana Sergeenko.

Ehhhhh. Ugh here's another one I hate to hate. We all LOVE Tracee, I mean she's the best! And she looked STUNNING at the Golden Globes, I mean she totally killed it and she won!! Great night. But on this night - Tracee went from like blingy diva to like gothic prom queen? I hate the black long sleeves and the odd things hanging off the sides? It's just confusing...it's not terrible, but it's confusing and confusing isn't good.

Amy Adams in Brandon Maxwell.

Ugh, okay. So Amy Adams surprisingly landed on a few Best Dressed list for this outfit and I gotta just severely disagree. There's nothing super wrong with her dress other than the fact that it's just a boring black dress that does literally nothing for her body. But what I really HATE about the whole look?! THE JEWELRY. OH MY GOD. It literally looks like there's some weird alien life form sucking the blood out of her body!! Especially the one that is like just sitting on her neck - doesn't look like a massive BUG?! I don't know. I just hate it. OH, and there's another alien on her arm as well. Yikes.

Taylor Schilling in Adeam.

I feel like this dress was trying to do what Emma Stone's Alexander McQueen dress WAS doing, but sadly, like this dress FAILS. I'm normally down for a wine colored dress, but this dress with the mis-mashed ruffles and the kinda sorta exposed side panels? Again, one of those things that's just confusing - and as I said before, confusing is not good.

Judith Light in Tom Ford.

It's painful to say that any Tom Ford creation is awful, but this velvet - I think it's velvet but it also kinda looks like felt, dress that the "Transparent" star is wearing is just so MIZ. And ugh, the royal blue color is like SO aggressive and then the long sleeves?! AHHHH. Now that I look at it again...it kinda looks like what people would wear for formal wear in the movie Zenon. Lol. Doesn't it look kinda futuristic?! But like, in a bad way obv...

Amy Landecker in St. John.

Another fellow "Transparent" star who missed the mark last night was Amy Landecker in this over the top St. John leopard print pant suit. So, St. John is very classic designer, I mean my mom has a lot of St. John and she looks FAB in it - and I'm also all about Pant Suit Nation - BUT  this particular suit is just a NO. It also just looks like one mess of a jumpsuit, which isn't good at all. Yikes. This is NOT the jungle fever people want to have.

Kathryn Hahn in Adeam.

Well, I think it's safe to say that I hate Adeam as a designer haha. The hilarious film and TV actress, Kathryn Hahn, chose this awkward number for the SAG red carpet and I gotta say, there's nothing funny about this look. The "Bad Mom" star looks like she's about to pull out a whip on the first person she sees!! The dominatrix belt loops on the side are kinda shady, and then over all - the dress just kinda look depressing. There's nothing really fab about this look.

OOOH WOW. What a MIZ group of dresses!! LOL. BUT if you need something that's a little bit easier on the eyes - be sure to check out our SAG Awards Best Dressed from Monday!!

Catch ya in a few weeks pour les Grammys!

SAG Awards BEST Dressed

The Best Dressed a La SAG Awards!!

Beside the big CONGRATS I must give for the 100th time to all the African American winnaaas last night - as well as the cast of The Crown, duh, here is our list of the all the BEST dressed stars on the SAG Awards red carpet! Woot Woot!

Best FAVES

Michelle Dockery in Elie Saab.

So, just in case ya didn't know, Michelle and Lupita have the same amazing ass stylist which is one of the many reasons why they always look BANGING. This dress on Michelle and her pale pink lips with the contrast of the orange shadow and earrings - I mean it's so beautiful I just don't even know what else to say. I soon as I saw her last night I knew she was going to be on literally everyone's best dressed and so far, from what I've seen she is. Though Downton didn't win last night (UGH RIP!!!), Michelle was a winner in the fashion books.

Yara Shahidi in Nahem Khan.

DROP THE MIC. DROP EVERYTHING. I'M DEAD. Try to contain all your thoughts and try NOT to think about the fact that she's like 16. THIS IS EVERYTHING. I've met Yara and not only is she like the sweetest human being, SHE'S BEAUTIFUL. I like to think that she's my long, lost cousin. It's fine. Way to literally WOW us in this original gown. Honestly I can watch the boomerangs of her spinning for hours. HOURS.

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton.

Some people would say I'm obsessed with stripes, but likeee it's not my fault that stripes are the new spring trend AND they look baller on all these women! And you know what they say - vertical stripes make you look thinner! And not only does Michelle look thin (cause I mean, she is), I love this modern sequin take on an retro inspired 70s disco number. Michelle always rocks her Louis Vuitton on the carpet and though she didn't win last night, she sure did bring it.

Kerry Washington in Roberto Cavalli.

I mean. I can't even form words to describe how beautiful Kerry looks in this snow white Cavalli gown. THEY ARE NO WORDS.  Her hair, her makeup, the dress - everything is just picture perfect. People wished they looked like this everyday. OMG it's everything. I just like to think that I'm her long-lost not as attractive twin...I mean, I'll take it.

BEST

Sophia Bush in Marchesa.

So, I don't watch Chicago PD, like, I'll be honest, but Sophia was one of the first celebs on the carpet last night simply dieee for her head-to-toe fuchsia pink ensemble. Not only do I like the 1950s, Marilyn Monroe glamor of this this strapless, pink Tadashi Shoji gown, I LOVE and I mean LOVE her makeup. The hot pink, dusted eye shadow glow around her eyes and lids is just amazing. I love it so much. Way to make an aggressive red carpet stance Sophia.

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji.

Octavia looked spectacular her custom Tadashi number. One thing I love about Octavia is that she's super faithful to her designer friend - she literally always wears Tadashi and it's awesome. It also worked out well that Octavia and her fellow Hidden Figures cast mates won Best Cast Ensemble last night, so all of them got to show off their fancy looks on stage...and cry because they all so beautifully shocked. I mean cried. Who didn't? If you didn't - where IS your heart?!

Viola Davis in Vivienne Westwood.

I mean what else is there to say about this SAG winning beauty?!! Okay, well there's so more I can. CONGRATSSS and VIOLA YOU'RE FLAWLESS. I mean look her looking mad elegant in this crips, white Vivienne Westwood number. The diamond collar necklace is the perfect touch - she just kills it! Our girl looking like Michelle Obama with her fit-ass arms and shit, ugh love. (P.S. Viola def has the Oscar on lock).

Thandie Newton in Schiaprelli.

UMM okay so Thandie (aka the British version of me, duh) got some negative fashion press for this. Why? Well, people weren't to down with the literal interpretation "Westworld" on her dress. BUT unlike them, Thandie can do no wrong in my book. Plus is an actual work of art - it's stunning so well crafted. The embellished detailing is unreal and totally eye catching. And sure the futuristic shoulder part may be a bit much but I think it the whole this just so beautiful. BYE haters! Peace out.

Nicole Kidman in Gucci.

Some people may not be into the parrot sleeves, but I am. I am into the whole look. Anything thats an iridescent, sequin green with black chiffon is like COUNT ME IN! Nicole like just doesn't age and she just always looks unreal on red carpets. Can't wait to see her Oscar dress!! Like TOO excited over here.

Sarah Paulson in Vera Wang.

Another lovely winner for the night, in book, like Thandie, Sarah Paulson can do no wrong. She looked American Crime Story fierce in this off the runway Vera wang number. So classic. Literally Sarah in this dress makes you just stand back and be like: "What a woman."

Claire Foy (in Valentino) and Matt Smith (in Ermenegildo Zegna)

Matt and Claire are each other's best accessory. I literally can't deal with them together. Not only are they hilariously unaware of their current fame, which is just adorable, they both just look STUNNING next to each other. Looking at them is just like looking at Will and Kate British perfection. Am I right or am I right? I wish they would just get married or England would crown them King and Queen (I mean obv long after Queen Elizabeth II's passing of course. Which won't ever happen because she ain't dying. Not on my watch). There's nothing really else to say about them fashion wise except they look AHmazing together. Brilliant I say! Brilliant! (British accent).

Emily Blunt in Roberto Cavalli.

The "Girl On The Train," looked anything but stark and creepy like her film character in this beautifully embellished Cavalli gown. My favorite thing about this dress though was the intricate, lace up back. Oh man. It's amazing. Not to mention Emily's styling for this entire look is perfection - the blunt (LOL), blonde bob with the blush punk lips and eye make is just so well done. She really looks just so fresh and flawless. Brilliant Em!

Evan Rachel Wood in Alturazza.

So, I originally wasn't feeling Rachel's whole suit, red carpet thingy, but I think she slays in the suit. It's far better than her tuxedo get up from the Golden Globes even though they have all been by the same designer. Oops...

Sophia Vegara in Zuhair Murad.

Sophia went for a more youthful look on the SAG carpet last night. The star who is known for her form-fitting gowns admitted to our girl G during her E! interview that she was the most comfortable she'd ever been in this fun, embellished tulle skirt and crystalized, strapless top. Her elegant slicked hair and classic red lip also just make this look so perfect. I fully support Sophia's new look. You get 'em.

Maisie Williams in Ralph Lauren.

I love this simple yet elegant look the "Game of Thrones" star pulled off on the red carpet last night. She perfectly channels the 1920s old Hollywood vibe in this pale pink, silk slip dress. The best thing about the look are the amazing open back which ties with a long bow AND her unreal clutch. Like I want that bag - purse - whatever it is - I want it!
