The Year Of KIMYE,  Kendall, Kylie, Kourt, Khloe, and Kris - pheew! The Kardash (/Jenner) Klan's Best and WORST of 2014...

 

Well, lezzbe honest, whether you were totally over the Kardashians or not, this year, KIMYE was like totally unavoidable, and we all know that with Kimye comes the whoooole Kardash klan, yup. So, in honor of the famous reality TV fam, let's take a look back at what we're calling the BEST and WORST Kardash moments: The Year Of Kimye.

The BEST

North. Obv. This baby is like SOOO cute, I can't. Oh man. I don't want her to grow up!! Is that awk?

The WORST

The Vouge cover. I'm LITTERALLY not over this. Why? Because it's basically a cover saying "hey young girls out there, go make a sex tape with some shadster like Ray J and after you make money off your bare ass, you'll get on a reality show, become rich and famous, and then you TOO can be on the cover of Vogue and besties with Anna Wintour." REALLY?! Really, really Anna?!! Vom. I'm totally against that message. Sorry.

The BEST

Kim's Wedding Dress. The fact that Kim and Kanye finally got married was whatever, they belong together and that's a fact, so while I didn't care about their not so secret wedding location, I loved Kim's dress. I was super surprised she didn't go crazy and got married in an actual gorgeous, super elegant, lace Givenchy gown. I loved it. And the pics of the veil were ahhhmazeee, but she didn't end up wearing it down the isle which was miz.

The WORST

Kimye thinking they were "royal" enough to get married at Versailles. SORRY, but no. Now, the French have one more reason to hate Americans. You're not actually royalty, and you're not billionaires (like the ONE man who was allowed to get married at Versailles, or Bey and Jay), so the fact that they tried and were upset about having to find a new venue for their wedding when Versailles didn't approve them getting married there is SO REDIC. However, Versailles did bend some rules and let them have the rehersal dinner on the grounds. God knows how much they paid for that.


The BEST

North's First Birthday.  Was it a little outlandish and over the top? Suuure. But was North's outfit just the cutest?! YES!

The WORST

Kim's Break the Internet Cover. I mean, I can't. I am not gonna join the band of screaming mothers who were appaulled by the cover because you know, she's a mom, but like my whole thing was....she's such an attention whore! Like Jesus. Remember when Kim cried because she didn't even wanna be barely naked in a W mag spread way back whenn during the short days of her marriage to Kris Humphries??! So, scared by her sex tape I suppose. Another reason why this photo was the WORST is because Kim obviously didn't even know that the photo of her bouncing champagne off her ass is an exact replica of the photographer's photo of Grace Jones,  the photo which was racial charged as the photographer described the inspiration for the original photo of Grace as "jungle fever." This referring to black people as animals and is supposed to be poking fun at the anatomy of the African American female body. Fab.

The BEST

Kourtney and Scott giving birth to a new baby boy on Mason's bday! Not only did Kourt give birth, she managed to do so right on her son's bday. Happy, happy! Now Mason has a baby bro to hang with and they can celebrate their bdays on the same day...aww! Reign Aston Disick. So swag.

The WORST

Kourt and Scott's relationship troubles. If you've been watching Kourt and Khlo Take Da Hamptons then you know that Scott had a little stint in rehab and still has some work to do when it comes to pleasing Kourt. He also makes awk references about how the two are still not married saying like "my wife, I mean girlfriend has locked me out of the house!" Ehhh awk. So, even though the E! show was filmed over the summer, there are still rumors that the two are still working things out. Ugh, I hope they do for the kids' sake.

The good ole Lord...

The BEST

Khlo turning 30. Even though she wasn't to happy about, she looked HOT and she's still everyone's fav. We love you Kokoo!

The WORST

French Montana. Ugh, I mean Khlo was like TEN times better than him. They made up and broke up a few times, but now I am glad they officially broke up because I am still rooting for her and Lamar and if not Lamar then someone fabuloussss so that Khlo will be happy. She so deserves her fairy ending (like more than Kim...oops).

The BEST

Kendall J. I mean, she's a fucking super model. I think its literally safe to say that there is no stopping her. 

The WORST

Kendall J refusing to pay. That awk situation where Kendall apparently was super rude to waitress in NYC and apparently refused to pay for her meal. The waitress said that Kendall was snotty and threw money at her or something, but then Kendall came out with a statement saying that none of these alligations were true and that she would never not pay for meal. Duh. Kris Jenner later defended Kendall saying she was the sweetest and shyest of the fam, and she would never do that. Welp, who knows for sure. The story def came from somewhere...

The BEST

Kylie J. Just Kylie and all her makeup, her hair extenisons, and her edgy ass outfits. She's like 16 or something, but I swear she's older than me. But, we def don't hate it. After Miley Cyrus' run, I wouldn't be surprised in Kylie becomes the new M.A.C girl.

 The WORST

Kylie J dating all these supposed young rappers. I mean...I just don't know. First Jayden Smith  then Tyga, then rappers with names like Lil sumthin - you know the one's that hang out with Justin Beiber. Oy vey. I don know...Kylie could be headed toward future sex tape territory circa Kim and Ray J...




OH and Chris Brown...(Kylie also 100% wants to be black cause she knows yaaaa don't go back!)


The BEST

Kris and Bruce separating, but like not actually separating. I mean we didn't even think they were actually separating since Kris kept popping up at Bruce's Malibu pad to bring him food and stuff...and they still had family dinners and Kris' house. I mean they like shared a room in Thailand for god's sake! Lolz.

Kris and Bruce getting a divorce. And then it happened. And now, they're saying Bruce is turning into a woman?! Ugh. SO MIZ. I don't buy it. It CANT be true. It does make sense that Kris drove him pretty crazy though...you'd probably be driven into do some pretty weird shit too. It's okay Bruce. We hear you.

The #JingleBall D.C.!!

My Coverage Of D.C.'s Hot 99.5 JINGLE BALL!! (Or What I Like To Call Red Carpet Celeb Stalking...) 

 

This past Monday, I was lucky enough to have the AWESSOME opportunity to cover Hot 99.5's traveling Jingle Ball show, which landed in D.C this week!! Whoo HOO! This was my very first, like real life red carpet coverage and I gotta say it was pretty legit! Even though I was not really about  watching the actual Jingle Ball concert (and having Ariana Grande scream in my ear...LOL), the red carpet was an amazing opportunity. Not only was it fun to meet a bunch of celebs (and see like how short they were in person), it was awesome being able to chat and interview a few of them and realize that likeee stars are just like us! (You know like US Weekly points out to us every week).

So, let's get down to it! Here's a run down of everyone who was at the Jingle Ball and everyone who walked the red carpet! From da pics to the interviews, I've got your Jingle Ball coverage riight here!

One Republic 
They were obv to cool to give interviews, and they just literally breezed by the red carpet, soo annoying, so all I got was the shady pic of the lead singer. HAHA. HEYYY. One Republic fail.

Charlie XCX 

My gurl. Charlie was super chill wearing a custom red velvet two piece number with sequin lipsticks on it. OBV, I loved it. She was the first person to walk the carpet and stop for interviews.  I talked to Charlie about her time in DC, how she had recently performed in the city back in October and it was one of the best crowds she had had, she causally told us that she had gone ice skating with show MC, Nick Jonas the night before, and how she really isn't a huge holiday person (miz). She has an obsession with pizza and she said recently she had spent the past few evenings watching bad horror movies with tons of pizza. LOL, amazing. Stars are just like us. So, what to expect from Charlie in 2015? She said DEF another album and more videos of course. With all her success this year, 2015 looks promising for her!

Rixton 

Sooo, gonna be honest. I had NO idea who this band was. It's obv another one of those British boy bands that have been popping up all over, Lolzz but obv the girls love them. So, I got to interview them, asked them a few questions. They talked about basically stalking the White House to try and find Obama, which is HILAR (Obama = such a celeb), then I asked them who had been the most entertaining person on the tour so far and they of course went with the diplomatic answer and said everyone, buut then they said Ariana had be great... (I know, I know hard for some of us to believe). So YEAH, Rixton everyone. Get your BRIT on.

Kiesza

The funk, electro, pop artist is pretty freaking awesome. If you watch Ellen, and saw the show were Kiesza performed, I mean...it was pretty freaking awesome. You may know her  hit single "Hideaway," which has recently blown up, but if you aren't fimilar, get fimilar. Kiesza stopped for interviews and chatted for a bit. Besides her singing talents, one the of the coolest things about her is her rad style. Yes, rad. At the Jingle Ball she was sporting an awesome crop, vintage jewelry and retro Rebok kicks. She described her style as an art form, saying that it always changes. I asked her who were some of her biggest fashion inspirations and she said she was a huge fan of Karl Lagerfeld (obv), and that she viewed him as the "Andy Warhol of fashion." YES. That was by far one of the BEST quotes of the night. AMAZE. She also explained that while she loves the top designers now, she didn't grow up knowing name brand designers and has always been a huge vintage shopper...again amaze. She is also a desigenr herself. Growing up she also made her own clothes. She said that she loved the idea of putting stuff together that doesn't belong. True. So, now in regards to her music, Kiesza said she has already started on her second album and her new year's resolution is to "keep revolving as an artist." Sounds good to me.

"I looove crop tops!" Yeah, you go gurl.

Lil' Jon 

So, no joke, how ever you image Lil' Jon to be...that's how he is. HA. Like literally, he's absurd. But, that was to be expected, right? Lil' Jon was obv also to cool to stop for interviews, so he pulled a One Republic and also walked the carpet pretty quickly BUT one of the reporters for FOX 5 managed to pull him over for one question and the out come was hilarious!! OMG. The reporter pulled Jon over and started out by saying that Jon has popularized the word "YEAH" in all his songs and if he had one song that he could just add the word "YEAH" to, what would it be? Legit question right? Well, NO. Lil Jon LIIIT scratched his head and was like: "Dude, why are you asking me such hard hitting questions? I don't know!!" LOLOLOL. Ahhhmazing. As he left the carpet, I got one shady pic of him.

He like, may or may not have been high. I'll let you decide. #YEAH

Demi Lovato 

Demi didn't stop to talk for interviews either, in fact she did the red carpet faster than One Republic. So, we only got like one blurry photo of her cause she was in and out. But she did look cute with her new hair cut and her all black two piece top and skirt ensemble. OH, she's also likee way shorter than you think she is. She's SO short. And she had on little booties...which means, she's shorter than she was. Gotta love seeing people in person haha.

Jessie J

JESSIE J WAS LITERALLY AMAZING. I mean, I liked her before, but now I am actually obsessed with her. Not only did she give an UNREAL interview, she looked so chic garbed in a Celine sweater, YSL pants, and the cutest shoes that she expressed she had just ordered online. Ordered online?! Ugh, stars are just like us. LOL. She told us her favorite places to shop online were Net-a-porter, Selfridges, and Matches. She was recently in DC with Rihanna having performed for the concert for valor, but she still has a DC bucket list. She said she has yet to go to the White House and Ben's Chilli Bowl, but she has enjoyed just taking in the atmosphere of every city she has visited so far, being British. I asked her what her favorite city has been so far on the tour and she said Philly! (I know, like cool). She explained that she went on a morning run through the park in Philly and while it was cold, she thought it was beautiful. But don't worry, she also named dropped NYC, LA, and San Francisco as other cities she loved. So, what about her music? Well, she explained that she is going to most likely work with Demi Lovato in the new year, she said they had been talking about it and they think it would work well, the two having similar fan bases, but she also talked about wanting to do a collaboration with Taylor Swift. She literally said "I'd love to work with Taylor, just because I don't think I've ever worked with someone taller than me." HA, unreal answer. She said she loves and is a big fan of Taylor and talked about how tall she was which was funny. She said even without heels, Taylor still has stems. At the show, she said she was excited to see Megan Trainor and that "the gurl can sing." Awesome. Jessie is awesome.

"Noo, she's tall. I think we're about the same height, but she's tall!" Jessie on Tay's height lolz.  


Calvin Harris

Obv didn't stop for interviews. He just took some quick pics and left, but weird/funny comment, he smelled like SO good. His cologne or whatever he had on filled the room and everyone was like obsessed. LOL I know, SO weird but it was hilarious, literally everyone was memorized. I wish someone  had the ballzzz to ask what he was wearing, but he was no interviews, in and out. Miz.

Megan Trainor

Speaking of the newly Grammy nominated, "All About That Bass" singer, Megan walked the carpet after Jessie, but she did not stop for interviews. Now, I don't think she was being too cool, she was apparently on voice rest because she had to perform next, so we'll take it. I did however get a selfie with her. She was super sweet.

Iggy 

Iggy and Megan came out at the same time and she also did not do interviews. She walked the carpet quickly, so I only got some passing shots. But she's a tall one. That's one thing I can def say.

 

#Fancy

Nick Jonas

OBBBVVV Nick did NOT stop for interviews, which was annoying, however he did pose for a lot of photos. He was the Jingle Ball MC, so like he couldn't stay that long I guess, miz, but what can ya do? OH, and FYI, the dude is super short. Sorry ladies, secret's out.

Jason Derulo 

Next up was Jason Derulo. He was like also super sweet, I gotta say. He stopped and did interviews like right after his performance (which was pretty legit, cause ya I watched it). But, I took my like break during Jason's interview so I don't have too much juicy info, (sorry I had too break at this point, the carpet was 5 hrs long AHH). I did catch the tail end his interviews and he talked about spending the holidays with his fam and the new stuff that he will be working on for the new year. We can expect more videos from him in 2015 he said. OHH suuuure.

Rita Ora

AHHHHH! Lol, so as most of you know, I love Rita. I mean I was her for Halloween in 2013, I love her. Why? She's British, she's hot, she's my age, why I'm not her I don't know, but I love her. Rita did not to interviews either, BUT I went up to her and introduced myself, got a little geeky, said I was a huge fan aaannd got a selfie with her. BOOM. Amaze. Success. She was rocking the carpet kinda looking like the carpet with this red, blanket mini dress get up, very interesting, but I didn't even careeee. Her makeup was flawless per usual and she was just great.

Ariana Grande 

HA. OKAY. So, I could not even with her from the beginning of the Jingle Ball. So, Ariana was a performer aka one of the headliners for the show. Obv. So, when we got to the carpet before the show started, the press people made an announcement that Ariana will not even appear on the carpet. Why? Cause she's obv the world's biggest diva. I mean, no one in the press room was surprised and I don't think anyone cared. So, 5 hrs go by and the show ended around 10. Rita Ora was last to walk the carpet at 9:45 and after she left, people began to pack up. BUT of course, the press people came back in an said Ariana would maybe make a quick appearance at the very end and if you decide to stay for her...press/media MUST stand on her RIGHT SIDE ONLY for photos...WHAT??!!!!!! I was LITT like OH HELL NO. I couldn't believe but likeee COULD believe that. Ariana be trippin. Can someone please bring her and her hair back down to reality?? Needless to say after meeting Rita, I was out.


Ahhh the jingle ball. So great, so fun.
