Gaga. Best Moment and Best Dressed.

Last night, the 87th annual Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre, celebrating and honoring Hollywood’s biggest films and brightest stars of 2014. Host Neil Patrick Harris hosted the event with singing, dancing, witty jokes and gimmicks, as the golden statuette was given out to this year’s Oscar winners. Ahh yes. As most of you know, Award Season/ The Oscars is like my favorite time of year (besides Christmas aaand my birthday), so I'm like SO miz that award season is over. Ugh. BUT I can still relive all the fab Oscar moments by telling YOU! Thank God.

SO, obviously I wanted to share with ya'll my top moments and my BEST dressed on the red carpet, but this morning I already wrote an article on the Oscars TOP moments and winners for FASHION TO MAX, and it was kinda long. So, because I didn't wanna make the world's longest blog post and bore you all to death, if you want to read my TOP moments from the Oscars (which I mean, I know you do...right?), check out my my article entitled the "Oscars Best Moments and Winners" on fashiontomax.com. (It may not be up yet, but it should be by end of the day) YA!

BUT, even though I am not gonna like re-say everything I did in my Fashion To Max article about the winners and best moments, I do just wanna give a few shout outs:

CONGRATS toooo Eddie Redmayne, Julianne Moore, Patricia Arquette, John Legend and Common, "The Gran Budapest Hotel," and Lady Gaga (just for killing it).

Favorite quotes of the night:

In regards to the horrid Oscar weather: "Us Brits brought the British weather with us. It's very unfortuante." - Eddie Redmayne  LOL. Amazing. WHY ARE YOU PERFECT?!! Okay...I'm over it. (But like, not really...)

Regarding Adele Deezem: "Benedict Cumberbatch is what you get when John Trovolta tries to say Ben Affleck." -- Neil Patrick Harris LOLOL. We'll never forget you, Adele Deezem. Except now we can make fun of John for like creepily touching India Menzel's face...like what WAS that?!!

In regards to feeling like you don't belong: Stay weird, stay different. And when it’s your turn to stand on this stage, pass the message along.” -- Graham Moore winner for "Imitation Game" Best Adapted Screen. Beautiful, beautiful, words. Literally brings me to tears every time I think of it.

OKAY, and finally, favorite looks of the night - YAYA! While last night honored and celebrated the new appointed Oscar winner’s, we’re praising the Hollywood’s winning red carpet looks!! Let's start off with the night's biggest Trends!

It was a white and red carpet last night. White and red. We saw people wearing all red dresses and people wearing all white dresses and then people mixing up white dresses with red accessories (i.e. Lady Gaga and Nicole Kidman), just a lot of red and white. Other trends spotted on the carpet this year? Chiffon. A lot of chiffon. A lot of light weight, flowy dresses. We saw some beautiful pastel and blush tone dresses, as well as a lot of off-white, nudes, and grey dresses. Of course there were some embellished dresses, but when it came to sparkle, a lot stars went for the earrings this year. We saw a lot of intricate earrings and ear cuffs/ ear crawlers (whatever you want to call them), and pearls. We saw lovely pearls of actresses such as Julianne Moore, Lupita, and Felicity Jones. The last big trend, hair OUT or AWAY from the face. Pretty much everyone was rocking (except for Margot Robbie and Naomi Watts, just two people I can think of off the top of my head), swept back hair. Weather it was simple ponytails, or classic up-dos, hair was pulled back last night - all the more elegant for the Oscars I think.

BEST of the BEST

Luptia in Calvin Klein Collection (6,000 pearls…BYE).
Luptia needs to go into the red carpet hall of fame and she's only been on the red carpet scene for like two years!! Now THAT's a fashion icon. Not only does she always show up looking unreal, it's like all her dresses are just art forms. Every dress she wears I just don't even know if its real. Her Calvin Klein sheath was just breath taking. I'm not gonna lie though, I was so shocked that Calvin Klein made this, no offense, but I didn't expect something so detailed and ornate to be CK, but it is, and it rocks. 6,000 pearls later, you're still da best Lupita.

This insta is everything. THE SHOES. Ooooh man.

Rosamud Pike In Givenchy (KNOCKOUT).
I mean, if Rosamud still gives you the heebies, then you probably dropped dead when you saw her in this dress because I know I did. This dress is SOO phenom, like the red is perfect, and the red shoe is perfect, and the whole dress is just, ugh PERFECT. She looks regal, I love it. I am a huge Rosamud fan, so I have always supported what she has worn on the red carpet to past shows this season, but this just really makes everything else look weak. She makes the red carpet look weak.

Juilanne Moore in Custom Chanel (WINNER).
Five nomitations later, Julianne finally took home the gold and I don't think she could be happier. I mean, I was so HAPPY for her, she's so talented and so amaze, last night was her night, and her stylist did her up right in custom Chanel. The dress is literally a work of art, like Lupita's. So intricate, so beautiful. A winning dress for sure. You get 'em Julianne annnd your younger husband too...we feel that.

Lady Gaga in Custom Alaia.
Gaga looked like A GEM. The handmade gown took two months and 25 people to make. GASP. But the bead work is phenomenal and Gaga sparkled on the red carpet. And for those of you who are hating…I mean, when Alaia makes YOU a custom gown…call me.  Like, until then…you just have no clout. And her performance dress was AHH-MAZING also…her performance in general. Holy shit – and then when Julie Andrews came out…waterworks. So, beautiful. Gaga killed it last night in every way.  If her performance didn't make you want to watch "The Sound of Music" 500 times or listen to all of Gag's hits on replay for hours...then I don't think I want to talk to you...

Naomi Watts (STUNNING)
This was actually the first dress, I think I literally yelled OH MY GOD, when I saw it. I LOVE this dress SO much and it is prob my favorite, why? Because I love the combination of the sequin gown with a little bit of edge. It's sophisticated chic, and so contemporary. Namoi always kills it on the red carpet though, she always ends up being one of my favorites, so I'm not surprised in the slightest. So beautiful. So modern, so awesome.

The BEST

Giuliana Rancic in Tadashi Shoji.
Well no surprise here, G WAS indeed all coverd up for the red carpet. For the earlier Oscar show she was all wrapped up in a goregous, of course long sleeve, white, lace gown, but for the red carpet, G wore a stunning red embellished dress with sheer panels. And while the dress wasn't long sleeved, it still covered her shoulders. So, I still say I win. Despite that though, I think G looked amazing. Loved her new hair color with the dress also.

Keira Knightly in Valentino.
Currently pregnant Keira looked like a beautiful, Victorian princess, which is fitting because that is normally the roles she plays, but the I love this dress. And the best part? The head band is the perfect touch. Amazing. She was literally glowing. A true vision. Another favorite Brit of mine, god I love ya.

Felicity Jones in Alexander McQueen.
I. Love. Felicity. It's like if her and Eddie Redmayne weren't perfect enough in "Theory of Everything," they were on the carpet! British crushes. All hail. Felicity has killed it this award season and I love this dress on her because I actually think she looks like royalty. Her dress reminds me of one of Princess Diana's ball gowns (which I would be able to correctly reference because I have the big book of ALL of Princess Di's dresses...NBD). I just think she look so effortless elegant with the simple makeup and whispy hair, I just loved it all. People think the big ballroom gown was too much, but what IS too much at the Oscars, really?

Margot Robbie in Saint Lauren and Van Cleef.
I mean...this girl is just so hot. Like, I can't even. And she looked just soo vintage glam in this long sleeved YSL gown. I loved it so much. The vintage Van Cleef necklace also takes the cake for me. It is stunning. She's stunning. Ugh, I hate her...but I don't because like she's amazing. You just do you Margot and people will love it. (But that's a give in). Who's going to see "focus" next week?! I am...

Dakota Johnson in Saint Lauren.
50 Shades of Dakota's gorgeous red gown. Um, did Christian buy you this dress? Cause Anastasia Steele would never. Lol. I think she looked flawless. Like, this was the definition of effortlessly elegant because it literally looks like she just showed up in this dress, put her hair in a ponytail while she was in the car, and added a red lip with her make up mirror. No jewerly, no aggressive makeup, just simple. Her one shoulder bling acts as her only accessory and I love it, so much.

Zoe Salanda in Atelier Versace.
Everyone knows that I LOVE Zoe, like every day I wish I was her, so I may be basis, but I LOVE this dress and this color and everything about it. The draping is in all the right places to accent her figure, her boobs look great, the color is just amazing on her skin tone, it's all just fab. People were hating on the straps and saying it would look better strapless, but I disagree. I love the straps, I love the diamond necklace, and maybe her hair could have been different, but she just had TWINS, so everyone who is hating...jokes on you because you prob won't look like THIS after you have twins...unless of course you become rich and famous also, in which I'll just hate you.

Reese Witherspoon in Tom Ford.
Reese's stylist, Leslie Fremar, who is also Julianne's stylist, had double duty Best Actress nominees on her hands last night and she did a great job dressing them both in black and white numbers. I love, this Tom Ford look on Reese, and it's funny because normally TF is Julianne's go to so it was shocking to see her on the carpet in Chanel, but Reese did Tom Ford right. She looks perfect in this classic black and white, off the shoulder gown and my favorite part of the styling were diamond ear crawler earrings that added just the hint of edge she needed. There is a reason why Beyonce and Jay Z praise Tom Ford you know...

Emma Stone in Elle Saab.
Apart from deciding if this dress was gold or green, I just love it because its beautiful and it sparkles and Emma Stone deserves to sparkle. Everything from her hair and makeup was so gorgeous, and even though she looked kinda miz holding her Lego Oscar when they were announcing best supporting actress (cause like I think she knew it was going to Patricia like we all did), she still radiates perfection

JLo in Elle Saab.
A princess if I've ever seen one. Like, Emma, Jen decided to don a beautiful Elle Saab gown. The gown is just, ugh amazing. And if you haven't seen the back...the back is just stunning. I LOVE Elle Saab gowns, I mean yeah cause they're all embellished and sheer and or made of tulle, lol. I love it. I wonder what Ben Affleck thought...LOL, but I mean HEY Jen Garner like wasn't there so...it's a legit question.

The back is everything.

Jennifer Aniston in Versace.
This dress may have been seen through, I mean it was, but it was super pretty.  I don’t really care that she wasn’t nominated for an Oscar, but she def looked like a winner in this dress. Way to keep it classy Jen. Oh, and your pic with Emma Stone that is going viral is adorbs. She's like the happiest non-Oscar nominee ever. Lolz.

The Ladies in In Zuhair Murad

Jenna Dewan Tatum

Chrissy Tiegen

Anna Faris

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji.
Ugh, I LOVE this dress. It's so whimisical. I'm sorry she had to watch NPH's box like ALL night LOLzz which got like super annoying, but she looked great doing it.
