VMAS BEST MOMENTS

The Rihanna and Beyonce Show! VMA 2016 BEST Moments!

So normally, as most of you know, I like to do a red carpet round up of awards show fashion because if you were watchin, then you most likely know what happened and I don't exactly NEED to recap that for ya, but last night at the VMAs, the red carpet was sub par and the fashion was sub par sooo I'm just gonna talk about all my FAV moments. I mean, what a great show. I am surprised that Madison Square Garden didn't explode from the greatness that was Rihanna and Beyonce performing in the same arena. Like, outta control.

But here is a list of things that did in fact make my head explode while watching last night's show. Here are ma BEST VMA moments. Whoohoo!

SIDE NOTE: These moments are in no particular order, just literally as the come up in my head...

When Kanye West called out Taylor Swift without even mentioning her NAME. Baller.

"THAT'S WHY I CALLED HER." Yup.

When Kanye said hey to Amber Rose from the stage and she waved from the crowd leaving Kanye to say: "My wife's a G." LOLzzz.

When Kanye presented the new video for his song "Fade" and now everyone made a mad dash to the gym right after watching.

The "Flashdance" inspired video is 'bout to make Tenaya Taylor some MAD money.

When Kimmy K showed up on the carpet looking like this:

When Britney Spears rocked this sequin hoodie:

When Diddy told us that Drake was coming, but he wasn't there yet because stuck in traffic...and proceed to plug is latest tour and album. LOL.

When Jay Pharoh tried to ask DJ Khaled why he was so famous and came up with the expression: THEY DONT WANT YOU TO BRUNCH!

When Jay Pharoh did his Kevin Hart and Jay Z impressions and they were just SO on point.

When Jimmy Fallon dressed up as Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps was loosing his mind in the crowd.

When the "Final Five" (minus Gabby) presented on stage and it was like the Queen of England walked into MSG. Literally everyone was bowing.

The amount of photos taken backstage with the gymnastics queens was PRICELESS.

When Michael Phelps introduced Future...like WHAT?!

When DNCE won for Best New Artist and Nick Jonas was caught in the crowd like SOO excited for his brother.

BEYONCE

When Beyonce and Blue walked the red carpet looking like angels from heaven.

This picture of Blue:

Beyonce walking the red carpet with the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Oscar Grant III in honor of the Black Lives Matter.

When Beyonce basically performed her WHOLE album, costume changes and all. #Lemonade

When the standing ovation for Beyonce lasted so long after her performance and Key and Peele literally didn't even know what to do as hosts.

"Beyonce's STILL on stage - take us off camera!"

When Beyonce won 90% of the awards and apparently now has the most VMAs of anyone like EVER.

When Beyonce dedicated her award to the people of New Orleans.

When we ALL realized this WHY again Beyonce is truly called the Queen and no one can touch her.

When everyone in the ENTIRE place stood up and clapped for Beyonce and people were basically tearing up at her greatness.

And God was likeee "Let there be BEYONCE!" BOOM.

RIHANNA

When Rihanna opened the show.

When Rihanna closed the show.

When we ALL realized we have a Rihanna song for pretty much every year of our lives. I know I do.

When Drake presented Ri with the Michael Jackson Vanguard award and LITERALLY made Rihanna feel like the ONLY and I mean ONLY girl in the world and even she was like WOAH...

When Rihanna blushed and was just as shocked as we all were by Drake's touchy speech.

"She's someone I've loved since I was 22 years old."

#WaitForYourDrake

When we thought Drake was going to propose, but he didn't and we're all secretly but not so secretly bummed about that.

But he DID meet her FAM!!

When we all realized that Chris Brown was def beating himself watching that last night.

When Drake mentioned that Rihanna is one of the FEW artists who has remained true to herself during her climb to fame and hasn't changed who she is for anyway. YUP. No fakes betches here!

When I realized that if I had Rihanna's couture trench coat I most def would never NOT be caught in it.

It was a pretty solid VMA show. I think maybe because people were genuinely happy that Taylor Swift was not there...

Like SO Happy. LOL.
