Emmys 2014: The Best Dressed !!

The 2014 Emmy's Were Breaking Bad EPIC, #Sure. But Let's Take A Look At The Emmy's BEST Red Carpet Looks!! Cause There's like SO much RED to analyze...

Last night Seth Meyers hosted the Emmy's and they were pretty epic. Epic for many reasons, and NO were not talking about YOU Weird Al...LOL  even though that was super HILAR.  But epic as in Seth Meyers just being hilarious, Matthew McConaughey being nominated for Best Actor in a film and in television series the same year,  I mean...alright, alright, alright, Andy Samberg in his Game of Thornes get up, then of course, Breaking Bad killing it by winning ALL four grand titles of Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Drama. Likeeee WOW. Talk about a high. Lolzz. Yes, Breaking Bad went out with a bang and it was well deserved. Bryan Cranston crying (and making out with Julia Louis-dreyfus) really hit home. Even though it's been a year, this made us all miss BB more. SO miz that it's gone. But I am really hoping the whole split finale season works out just as well for Mad Men next year as it did for BB becauseeee I'm really gonna need John Hamm to win an Emmy before the show officially ends...don't you agree? I mean yeah, duh. Hes too swag-o-lious not to have an Emmy. He's worn to many suits, smoked to many cigs, and drank way to much liquor to not get one. And yes, that's my argument for his Emmy.

SOO the big winners of the night? Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, Fargo, and Sherlock. For the most part there was nothing new there except for Fargo and Sherlock. To my fellow Brit (lol) Benedict Cumberbatch - BRAVO well done. And of course, congrats to Uzo for her win in OITNB!!! Hopefully next year, OITNB will also win some more. It's still fairly new to the award scene.

OKAY, so let's talk red carpet. There was likeee SO, so, SO much RED on the carpet last night, like it was so aggressive...

Yeah...just to give you an idea of how aggressive...

I mean, I didn't hate it or anything it was just a big shock because normally don't wear red to award shows for fear of blending into the carpet...and people like, hate that. So, it was just interesting to see a lot of red. There was also quite a few white hot and of course some traditional black dresses. So let's take a look at some of these best dresses from Monday evening, separated by COLOUR. Yes, colour. There were actually a ton of beautiful dresses this year as opposed to awful dresses SO it was hard to pick a few BEST looks...so I have many...#guilty.

Sequins and Metallics

Amy Poehler - Glitz, glam, and funny. That's all you really need in life. Round of applause for Amy in this gorgeous, gorgeous, ssequin sheath.

Gwen Stefani - OMG this beautiful Versace Swarvoski crystal number was actually to die for. I'm not kidding I would DIE for this dress. Gwen is probably my #1 best dressed because damn did she shiiiiine on the Emmy stage. She may have fumbled on Steve Colbert's name, but like she looked great doing it.

Hayden Panettiere -  I mean...this was one by far one of the beautiful dresses on the carpet. This dress is magical. I want it in my closet now. The dress is so glamorous, it's probably one of the best pregnancy dress ever. She should also wear when she's not pregnant. It vintage Hollywood glam, with the star burst sequin design,  but the net over-lay across the chest makes the dress look tasteful as opposed to slutty. LOVE it. You sparkle and shine Hayden.

Taylor Schilling  - Well, she didn't wear Orange or Black, but we're okay with that. This nude beaded number was whimsical and fresh. She looked chic and comfortable which is always a plus.

 Red

Uzo - First Emmy red carpet, first Emmy. Way to go Uzo! Not only is she amazing, she looks drop dead in this sleek red show stopping gown. Def fit for an Emmy winner. We're so proud.

January Jones - The red carpet is her playground and she always knows how to work it. She is truly a work of art in this Prabal Gurung gown. She always looks like a little boy in her hilarious insta tbt's, but then you see her on a red carpet and you shortly forget about that...

Sarah Hayland - By far one of my favorite looks of the night. Sarah 100% wowed in this Christian Siriano full princess skirt and white crop top. All hail the glamor of this look.

Giuliana - I mean...BYE. G looks like a classic Hollywood red carpet beauty. She should have won an Emmy just for her red carpet look. The red with the blonde, ugh I love. The simple jewelry aka a touch of some massive ring bling is flawless.

Dark

Sarah Silverman - Despite the whole whipping-liquid-pot-out-of-her-clutch thing, Sarah looked pretty classy showing off just the right amount of boob in this emerald Marni gown.

Julie Bowen - Girl looked SO hot in this Peter Som number oh man! I really hope that I look like her when I'm her age...I don't even know what her age is because who would know?! I loved how unique and different this dress was. Every time I saw her, it threw me for a loop. The whole optical illusion literally blew my mind...okay I'm done.

Lizzy Caplan - I mean talk about Masters of SexY...Liz actually looks amazing in this Donna Karan sheath. SO beautiful. Besides Gwen, this is my other number one favorite gown. It's sexy, it's glamorous, it's everything. The cut outs, the awesome not expected white train, the halter neck, it's all perfection.

Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey - Lolz. The two "True Detective" looked quite dashing in their matching suits while basically channeling the iconic Night At the Roxbury outfits. SO amaze.

Lena Heady - This dress was different, but for some reason she just works it so well. I didn't love the dress until I saw her on stage  and the a-symmetrical hem line looked amazing.

Natalie Dormer - I mean shes so sexy. #Girlcrush. She looks good in a freaking paper bag like a literal paper bag. From the "Tudors" to "Game of Thrones",  I just love her.

White

Allison Williams - Ummm this Giambattista Valli dress is everything. SO perfect. She looks stunning and that's really all I have to say about that.

Katherine Heigl - So, I admit that Kath isn't my favorite actress in Hollywood, buuut I like this dress because it reminds me of this vintage Princess Diana gown, and Diana is the ultimate fashion icon, so I mean I like this on her. But like, girl still shouldn't have left Grey's. Not over it.

Kristin Wiig - This Vera Wang number could be that sexual dress you put on after the actual wedding ceremony and I totally dig that...I mean she looks unreal. Deep V, deep slit, done.

Camillia Alves - This sexy duo both looked fab in Zuhair Murad...even if they both couldn't remember the name of the designer. It's okay we forgive you Matt, like double Oscar and Emmy nod forgive you.

Sophia Vergara- Annnd the vision of femenine perfection award goes to....yup, you know who. The sexy ass goddess herself. The glamor of this sculpted Roberto Cavalli dress is everything. The way the fabric and the fitted corset top hugs her body is just...I mean I know I sound like I want to have sex with her now but likeee don't you? #Flawless. I truly believe she woke up like...that.

Laverne Cox - Looked so elegant in this Marc Bouwer gown. Not bad for her first Emmys. Super goddess like. She told E! that when her gown was first draped on her she cried. Awww. We love you.

Colors

Kerry Washington - Prada, prada, prada. Kerry always WOWS in Prada. I totally feel this orange on her...I mean obv. And the little peak-a-boo black sequin mini underneath - LOVE. This is edgy and sophisticated and fun! You go Kerry.

Kate Walsh - Ahh Kate. Sure, this yellow is like reeeally yellow, but this dress is gorgeous and I think Kate nailed it. My favorite thing about the dress is the yellow sequins underneath the peplum for that subtle added shimmer. Talk about detailed. There is a lot going on, but I like everything that's happening.

Allison Janney - Congrats to my girl Allison for her double Emmy win on Monday night. One for "Mom" and one for "Masters of Sex," girl has just got that range thing going on. Not to mention she looked stunning in this rasberry dress. A winning look for a winner no doubt.

Denise Wiley - I mean, let's be real, our favorite OITNB character hands down. ALL HAIL Poussey. Though she wasn't nominated this year, she looked effortlessly beautiful by keeping it simple in this yellow mermaid gown.
